These terms govern your use of the DXG app and website during the limited beta. By using DXG you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use DXG.
1. Beta software
DXG is pre-release software provided for testing. It may be incomplete, change without notice, miscount reps, or be interrupted. We may modify or discontinue features, and the beta itself, at any time.
2. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 15 years old to use DXG — or older where the law of your location requires it. An account (email sign-in) is required to use the app, and you must provide an accurate date of birth when asked; you warrant that the date of birth you provide is true. We may suspend or terminate accounts created with a false date of birth. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
Use DXG for your own genuine workouts. Do not attempt to falsify counts or leaderboard standings, interfere with the service, reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law, or upload content you have no right to share or that depicts anyone who has not consented to being recorded.
4. Health disclaimer
DXG is a fitness counting tool, not medical advice. Exercise carries risk; you are responsible for training safely and within your ability. Consult a professional before starting a new exercise program.
5. Sharing videos and motion data (optional)
The beta includes an optional program in which you may choose to share the pose/motion data from your sets and/or the recorded videos of your sets. This sharing is off by default and controlled by separate settings you can change at any time. What we collect and how we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy.
If you choose to share this content, you grant DXG a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process it solely to evaluate and improve DXG's rep-counting technology. We will not use shared videos or motion data for advertising, and we will not sell them or share them with third parties for their own purposes. You confirm that you have the right to share what you submit and that you may withdraw and request deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. You are not required to share anything to use DXG.
6. Your content and account
You keep ownership of your workout content. You can delete shared captures or your account as described in the Privacy Policy; deleting your account removes your associated shared videos and motion data.
7. Intellectual property
DXG, its software, brand, and content are owned by us or our licensors. These terms do not grant you rights in them except to use the app as intended.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The beta is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss arising from reliance on rep counts or leaderboard results.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The governing law and dispute-resolution venue will be specified before public launch and reviewed by counsel for the beta's operating jurisdictions.
